Depending on the season, you can watch chicks fledge from a nest
box at the James Reserve in the San Jacinto Mountains, dive underwater
to observe trout in a Sierra Nevada stream at the Sagehen Creek
Field Station, or follow endangered plovers nesting on the beach
at the Coal Oil Point Reserve near Santa Barbara.
